Canada Geese; this is about as organized as their formations ever get. They're quite noisy and always let a photographer know they are coming.

Rat Island at China Camp gets few visitors. And probably has no rats.
I'll have to admit to shoddy reporting--I really don't have a clue how it received the name of Rat Island. ((still working on Rodeo Beach, too))
