South of Stinson Beach is Webb Creek. Studded with Redwoods, the Steep Ravine area is one of the most beautiful spots Mt. Tamalpais has to offer, but is probably one of the least visited.

"Least visited" until once eacy year. June brings the hugely popular and demanding Dipsea Footrace, from Mill Valley to Stinson Beach. 1500 runners complete the 7.4 mile course up and over Mt. Tamalpais.
