I am having second thoughts about having included so much black in the lower half--just trying to be arty, I suppose.
To hide some uncolorful and blown-out bits in the upper 40% of the image, using Photoshop I moved that section over about 25% to the right, then stretched the colorful clouds to fit on the left.

Hard to say without seeing the original, but this is certainly arresting and beautiful.
I can't help myself this morning...that header photo is fantastic.
