Tomales Bay and fog bank

This is a fairly common sight -- the fog spilling over from Point Reyes beyond...   The sun puts on a these light-shows at no extra charge...

Point Reyes sticks out 15 miles into the Pacific Ocean and is one of the foggiest areas in California.

That body of water in the foreground is Tomales Bay, home to a treasure of tasty oysters.
