People sometimes ask me if I surf, and I always have to tell them no. Growing up I always had jobs after school and on the weekends, so that left little time to hang out at the beach and learn how. But yes, I used to occasionally wade and swim in the ocean when I was a kid -- and I can assure you that without a wet-suit the water is cold... Very cold...

I just have to come back and put in another comment because I can't believe the color of that water!!! That is possibly one of my favorite water shot on this site. The Pacific Ocean around here does not usually look that clean and transparent. Even if you photoshopped it a little, I just love how the light goes right through the wave... What a great shot!!!
