That shot was taken on Ridgecrest Boulevard (where they film all those car commercials)... I used 200mm on my telephoto...

I was going to ask the same thing. The shot looks like its taken from the air.
The fog bank makes a perfect frame and I love the foamy waves and the dark shore.
