While chugging up Conzelman Road I passed at least a dozen photographers, all with DSLRs perched on tripods, snapping away, like blazes, at a newly hatched sun and the Golden Gate Bridge. I kept going. I had a destination.
That person on the beach is using a laptop to take photos or film the surf. She didn't seem to mind getting her ankles wet. It was cold.

Channel 2 News warned there would be high waves along the coast, and to STAY AWAY, lest unsuspecting photogs be swept away by rogue waves. Sounded like a GREAT photo-op for me. I arrived early on Sunday morning.

The waves were incredible. I've seen larger here but this was a nice show.

So jealous...great shots!
We always went down to the beach to see the "Maverick" type waves.
So beautiful.
I love the one of the person capturing the waves with her laptop.
Terrific lighting.
