Believe it or not, this twisted piece of sculpture arrived in the middle of the night from outer space...

And I've never had a clue as to what the beautiful thing on the right is, or is supposed to be -- maybe you know?

Must be some sort of new-fangled lamp... I'll have to come back when it's dark...

The pointy thing is Transamerica Tower. Unique it is...

And some days, and at some angles, the Alcoa Building wears the Transamerica Building as a hat...

Such impressive sightings Don. I love the hat the Alcoa building is wearing. the first shot is quite a sculpture. Looks like its blowing in the wind. Good stuff...
I agree the thing came from outer space. And maybe the potential lights did, too. I like the Alcoa Building wear the Transamerica building as a hat!
Hello, my ship is in port for a few days, thought I check on the blogs real quick ;)
Love the whimsical comments on this post "The Alcoa building wears the Transamerica as a hat..." Well done!
The twisted thing is not that new. I think I saw it 2 days ago on TV when they were broadcasting re-runs of the Streets of San Francisco with Karl Malden (by the way, there was a foot pursuit through the MUNI underground being built, don't think it was BART?, pretty cool stuff. These old shows shot outdoors in the City totally rule.)
Anyway, I could be totally wrong, maybe it was another twisted thing I saw. I'd say this definitely calls for further investigation! Unfortunately it's raining.
