Days are still warm and pleasant, but Summer is slipping.
It is starting to get cold. Mornings can be foggy.

This time of year the sun is at a low angle. Shadows are long and dark.

Cold air mixes with warmer air. Clouds of morning fog rise. Voluminously.

The grass blade has the same curve going for it as does the St. Louis Arch. Lots of fog here in Kenwood this morning. No doubt you are out in it.

Makes for some truly lovely photos. I like your talent for capturing the misty feel of our fog. It's not heavy fog, just light and wispy and it lets the colors come through softly.

Hi SINBAD'S DAD (JOHN) -- Yeah, there are certain curves in nature, e.g. the Mandelbrot Set, where patterns repeat naturally. Even in the way a power line hangs from pole to pole--multiply by 1.41 the distance between the poles to find the proper length of line to hang for the most efficient and natural hanging curve. .707 would be the inverse.

And thanks ZOOMIE -- Yeah, chasing the edge and just the right amount of that elusive fog keeps me on the go. But sometimes it becomes a command performance. Quite a symphony to behold at times.
