The "edge of the world", as I know it. Just past the Golden Gate Bridge--beyond a lighthouse on a jagged rocky point named, appropriately enough, Bonita, which means pretty or nice in both Spanish and Portuguese.

Some days this rock outcropping at the end of Black Sands Beach reminds me of a horse's head. Other days I see a dragon. The beach, just out of sight in this view, is popular with local sunbathers who call Black Sands their own.

The "edge of the world", and quite effortlessly a bird rides currents of air, while that boat barely discernable in the distance, seems perilously close.
