Love and romance.   Hmmmmm...   Unless cats count, it's not something I know a whole lot about.   But please don't feel sorry for me -- the elusive Ms Right and me are probably a lot better off without such dangerous knowledge.

The restaurants along Columbus Avenue seem to be hurting a bit for business.   The farther down on Columbus, the fewer patrons there seems to be.   ((( by the way, how do you like the waitress's colorful head-gear?   LOL, as they say. )))

I overheared one restaurant owner trying to rope some customers into coming into his establishment with promises of a free glass of wine and a warm evening, while at another restaurant there was a young lady giving out free samples of something that looked very tasty.   No, she didn't offer me anything.   Oh, that's o.k...

Well, I used to drink a whole lot -- I was a splendid raging alcoholic -- but then a medical condition forced me off the stuff.   These days, once in a very long while I will go against doctor's orders and sneak one or maybe even two beers but I just don't enjoy the effects of alcohol anymore.   I must be getting old...

You'd think that with all the pornography on the Internet that most of the porno shops would have closed by now, but no, they're still there -- maybe they are selling weed under the counter these days, or maybe they have girls turning tricks in the back room.   I just don't know...   It's probably none of my business...
