I didn't realize the Blue Angels were going to be in town this weekend, so I'm going to skip my usual early morning Sunday walk through Northbeach and Chinatown. I think I'm going to spend both afternoons, Saturday and Sunday over at Covello Point near Travis Marina at Fort Baker -- there's a little point (Covello Point) with a good view of the bridge.

And my knee has been bugging me so I should give it a rest, but the invitation is still open -- I'm the guy with the green shirt, baseball cap, and camera. I answer to "hey you"...

Not a fan of the Blue Angels but that's as good excuse as any to get our butts out of the house. Hopefully we'll get it together to get out to see you there. Any idea what time window? Afternoon...?
I was at SFMOMA yesterday (Friday) and saw them practicing from the roof top garden. But my lens was not long enough to get anything interesting.
I think I heard/read it was cancelled today due to fog?
Love the Blue Angels and always enjoy their show. Too bad the fog rolled in. Its always touch and go for the S.F. show.

I didn't hear the planes today either, so I don't know what kind of show they ended up putting on. A good thing I made time to watch it on Friday. I'm a huge fan of these guys (yes, I know what they represent, but no, I'm not going there).
