Beautiful as well as functional...
I found this interesting metal plate pattern on the east sidewalk of Columbus Avenue, in San Francisco's North Beach district.

Love the pattern. You could do a series with different tints. Would make a great poster.

Yeah, you could do a pattern series. I like it. I thought maybe you got the bumper of an old pick-up truck.

Your new header is fascinating. It reminds me of an adult toy we used to have with thousands of small ball bearings between two sealed sheets of clear plastic. What is your's?

HELLO EVERYBODY,
And Marc, you're going to have to stop back by tomorrow to find out what that is...   I'm not trying to be difficult, but the way my header works is that it becomes the "featured" photo for the next day -- each day I have a new header -- I think they call that a teaser in the advertising world.   Now, I've got to go find your blog, Marc, and see who the guy behind the smiling face is.

Best regards to all, Donald Kinney (and Kitty, of course)

I could use that as a texture in some 3D work. Looks good to me.

I like it in bare metal. Clever shot.
