I think the graffiti at Bolinas Beach is really high-quality art.
Bolinas has no shortage of artists, creative people, and free-thinkers...

Well done.
Interesting commentary. I always enjoy posts like this that keep my mind from being stuffed in a box.

The "center of interest" is nicely framed by the ocean and sand.

Good story here.

First thanks so much for the mention of FogBay, I appreciate the support.

Also congratulations on your new (Big) site, honestly I don't know how you find the time for all of them and still find the time to get out and shot as well. Good Job!

Finally, I noticed that your photo today was of Bolinas, we may have passed each other on Highway One as I was shooting at Stinson Beach today.

Anyway, best wishes, congratulations, and thanks again.

Great shot! I can't wait until I have a little time to go drive around Marin again.

Good to hear from all of you regulars and especially FogBay -- the winner of the award.

Photowannabe was saying that she had been completely absorbed in the FobBay blog -- and I agree -- I've spent a lot of time too going back through past editions.

Best regards, Don.

I think the graffiti at Bolinas Beach is totally out of context. It belongs in Oakland not west Marin. Most of it is done by taggers who just right their silly tagger name. When there is a piece that tries to be serious it too is usually just a silly name done in pretty colors. It's apparent that this generation has nothing interesting to say. Also it seems that there is no respect for nature as the rocks, trees and even driftwood have been tagged. That's pathetic.
