We had one heck of a storm rumble through early last week, but the clearing on Wednesday was rather beautiful.   This is Rodeo Beach in the Marin Headlands, not far from the Golden Gate Bridge.

Anybody out there think this second shot is better than the first?

Love them all. the ocean mists are so beautiful but trecherous for the camera lens and my hair. Salt air can really do a number.
Love the way you captured the wisps of fog in the last shot.

Although the bird is better defined in the second photo, I like the first one better because of the water and the rocks. Both are perfectly lovely, though!

That is too funny that you put "does anyone out there think this second shot..." because, that is EXACTLY what I was thinking, then I read your caption LOL! I like the second shot better because it is surrealistic to me - almost science fiction/outer space. Great job!

I only like the first shot better because it shows the power of the ocean more. I'm not sure exactly what the ocean's draw is for me, but I know a big part of it is the power. And really, comparing your photos with your photos--they're all awesome, so what does it matter?
