Well folks, I won't have any new photos for two weeks...
It's a long and sad story, but to make it short -- I managed to drop my $1100 70-300 I.S. D/O zoom lens into San Francisco Bay yesterday morning... It made a resounding plop when it hit the water... R.I.P., zoom lens...
